  1. Annie! I read your comment on my blog! This whole blog thing is so new to me! I was so excited when I saw that someone had left me a comment! wooo! okay... kinda dorky, but I'm just so giddy these days anyway... it's not like we are about to embark on a voyage around the world or anything!!!!

Don't worry if you don't feel prepared... golly... my post probably made me sound a TON more prepared than I actually am! Here is how this summer went down. I attempted to read fiction books about the different countries that we are going to. For Morocco it was "For Bread Alone" for Ghana a book called "Changes" none for South Africa, Mauritius, India, VietNam, China - "Lost on Planet China" and nothing for Japan. Basically I'm really pathetic. I have not even finished reading these books! My summer internship took all of my time! I'm so mad!

I'm more worried that I am not prepared as far as travel in each country. I think it would be fun to go to the Great Wall of China, but I haven't signed up for a trip through SAS and, honestly, I'm kinda nervous to join a facebook group to set out travel plans because I don't know the people yet and by the time we are in China I feel that there will prob be others I want to travel with - not just the facebook people! ANYWAY. talk about overwhelmed and feeling unprepared!

Sorry that was so long. I'm not normally this chatty on something like a comment on a blog!!! I'll just blame it on excitement!
